Bedford Both gunners are painted now. Have used Oils and Acrylics for the faces and Vallejo Acrylics for Uniforms only. Furthermore the AA-Gun and the Truck are primed reddish brown using car acrylic primer direct from aerosol can. This shrinks when dry and provides a good surface for further coats and for weathering.

Flak XtremeModelling has featured my 10,5cm Flak 39 Winter Scene as Top Story already a couple of weeks ago. The gun is placed on a little base covered with snow and Ice. Lots of experiments using Tamiya's Flat Base results in a glazed frost expression after a long cold night.
A figure stands nearby which shows the huge difference in size beetween this massiv gun pointing to the sky and the freezing crewmen. This Figure I have - except for the Hornet head - sculptured myself completely. SBS information inside the article as well as more words and bigger pictures here.
